Las Vegas Dog Park Reviews: All American Dog Park

Las Vegas Dog Park Reviews: All American Dog Park

Location: 1551 S. Buffalo Dr, Las Vegas, NV

This past weekend, I visited the All American Park in the heart of Summerlin. With two large football fields to choose from, it’s no secret how the park got its name. All American Park is home to 5 different sports fields and plenty of trails for you and your hoomans. If you’re a dog owner also looking for a place to bring the kids to kick the ball around, then All American is the park for you. They even have a waterpark for those hot Vegas days - but just for kiddos!

If you are looking to visit the dog park, they are open from 7:00 AM-11:00 PM every day of the week. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. There was plenty of parking next to the park, making it super easy for my hooman to find a close spot. The dog park was a little small in my opinion and boy do I love to run! While I was playing, I noticed that this was one combined space for all dog sizes. This is not an issue for me - because friends come in all shapes and sizes - but I wanted you to know!

If you don’t mind running in circles, then this is the park for you because it is on the smaller side. Another thing to note is that there are no trees in the dog park to provide shade. Again, not an issue when it’s 65 degrees, but Summer in Las Vegas can be B-R-U-T-A-L. There was a shipping-container style area to provide a little bit of shade during those hotter days - but don’t expect this giant metal structure to not feel like a burning oven in 104-degrees.

The other bonus I would give this park was that there was a place for me to drink water! My hooman liked that a lot because I pulled him out of the house too quick before he had time to finish packing my bag... Sorry Dad.

Overall, I would rate this park 58 out of 101-Spots due to the size and lack of amenities. While the park was clean and tranquil, it is not worth the trip if you are not local to the area. If you are someone who lives in the neighborhood, however, this is a beautiful and very convenient park for your other four-legged friends to work off some energy.

Great review! I live nearby and agree it’s great for local residents. The rubberized jogging track, large grassy fields, and general cleanliness are big pluses. There are cats that live here in the rocky areas. Make sure to use the leash when nearby!
