Location: 2505 Paseo Verde Pkwy, Henderson NV 89052
Hi there, thanks for joining me on my latest adventure! This week my travels took me to Paseo Vista Dog Park in Henderson. I was especially excited to visit this park because of its location. The park is in walking distance of the District and Green Valley Ranch Casino and Spa which is a fun area to explore. Paseo Vista is a fairly large park with tons of activities for your hooman friends. Whether they’re into baseball, basketball or tennis, Paseo Vista Park has it all!
To my surprise, despite the size of the actual park, our section is fairly small. In fact, this section is pretty far removed from the rest of the park. This is also a mixed dog park, so if dividers matter to your hoomans, you should remove this park from your list. Don’t be alarmed by the size of the dog park because there is plenty of running trails to conquer in addition to the complex.
Despite being smaller than some of the other parks I’ve visited, Paseo Vista has by far the most grass. You could say that the park has rightfully earned its name of “green path”. A lot of big trees surround the dog park, so we can stay cool and shaded all year around. That sure comes in handy during the hot Summer days, which brings me to my next point. There is a pretty big shaded area with three large benches for your hoomans to relax while we get our daily workout in.
What I like about this park is that despite being a neighborhood park, there is more paw traffic than the last park I visited. During my visit, there were plenty of friends to play with and just enough space to chase each other around! The water fountain was also conveniently located inside of the park, which I’ve come to find out is rare. This made water breaks fast and easy, which my hooman especially loved.
In a nutshell, I would give this park 63 spots out of 101. Despite being fairly small, Paseo Vista dog park was worth the visit. Open every day from 6 AM to midnight, which is extremely convenient for your hooman’s busy schedule. My favorite aspect of the park would have to be the location because it is so close to the District, which is just as pet friendly! Whenever I visit Paseo Vista Dog Park, it’s pretty much a guarantee that my hooman will make a trip to the shopping center and I am not one to ever turn down a day of shopping.
